How a home battery works
During the day your solar panels generate more power than you use. The battery stores that surplus. In the evening, when the panels generate nothing, you use that stored energy instead of expensive power from the grid.

Until now you could offset excess generated power against what you used. That scheme is being phased out, so feeding back earns less and less. With a battery you use your power yourself and get much more out of it.
Choosing the right capacity
A battery that is too small fills up quickly. One that is too large is harder to pay back. We determine the right capacity together with you, for example the Sigenergy of 9.04 kWh.
